Hello there!
Thanks for visiting. My name's Claire, and I am a diligent production assistant, engaging writer, and innovative thinker committed to using my interdisciplinary background in the arts, science, policy, and media to craft engaging stories.
I am currently based in Brooklyn, New York freelancing in film production and working with New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) to empower women in the industry across the city.
I attended the 2025 summer filmmaking certification course at Prague Film School, where I received hands-on instruction and practice in screenwriting, camera operation, directing & assistant directing, sound mixing, and video editing in Avid. Over the course of a month and a half I produced 2 original shorts and crewed on the sets of 6 others (AD, gaffer, sound).
Before that, I spent 3 years working as Global Media Relations Coordinator for The Nature Conservancy, one of the world's largest environmental nonprofits. In this role I handled all internal administrative needs for the team while also working with top tier news agencies and reporters around the world to generate coverage and develop story concepts related to The Nature Conservancy's important work.
My diversified resume includes experience in public speaking, live entertainment, media management, admin, hospitality, science communication, research, writing, editing, photography, community outreach, data analysis, video editing, and social media. I'm also a passionate singer, actor, dancer, and voiceover artist.
